The courses are secular, (non-religious) experiential courses, and consists of eight weekly two hour sessions,
held in Parkhurst, Johannesburg.
MINDFULNESS courses are held on

Monday evenings (18:00 - 20:00)

COMPASSION-BASED LIVING COURSE
starting Tuesday May 2020, 10:30 - 12:30.

Intended for those who have completed the Mindfulness Africa 8-week Mindfulness Based Living Course, or have an existing mindfulness practice.

Experience the bushveld, pristine air, clean water and nature walks and the pleasures of a more mindful life. Gently nurture your body mind and spirit with rest, learning mindfulness and compassion practices and enjoy wholesome vegetarian food.
The relaxed weekend programme includes these optional sessions to choose from:
In the morning:
optional daily Guided Mindfulness, Compassion and relaxation practices to help you settle and calm your mind, open your heart - and ground yourself
daily guided mindful movement and body awareness practices
mindfulness poems you can use as inspiration to jump-start your daily journaling
Tree planting ritual and Introduction to Permaculture talk and tour
In the afternoons:
sleeping, relaxing on the day-bed on the stoep
guided walk to swim in the waterfall
self-drive to the nearby Eye (14m artesian well and source of Marico River)
In the evenings:
star - gazing
marshmallows around the camp fire
